A Classic Texas Wine
Our 2016 Viognier was our monthly wine club wine of the month in November 2017.
The fruit was harvested from all blocks: Patton, Old Place, Barrier, Henslee, Buena Suerte.
We began the winemaking process minutes after they come off the vine. Whole cluster pressed fruit reduces the skin contact time which results in more aromatics and fruitiness and less heavy tannin qualities.
Food Pairing Notes
This fresh white wine pairs well with smoked Gouda, Brie with Apricots, Gruyere & Sesame sticks, salad with Ginger Sesame dressing, Chicken or Turkey Pot Pie, & Ginger snaps from Trader Joe’s.
There are a limited number of cases, only available to wine club members.
